Altenew April 2022 Spring Garden Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hi everyone! It’s such an honor to be part of this blog hop. I truly enjoyed making these cards & project!

My hand is still recovering from surgery, so my instructions are brief. Thankfully I created the cards before my surgeries.

The first item is my project using the Antique Blossoms die and items from the Itty Bitty Branches dies.

To make this project:

1. Decide which dies you want to use
2. Create vase
3. Add washi tape to ground the elements
4. Add die cut pieces behind the vase
5. Add to A2 size card stock
6. Add sentiment
7. Ta da all done 😃

This is also from the Itty Bitty Branches die set.

1. Die cut branch pieces from Altenew’s Ocean Reflection Glitter and Forest Canopy Glitter cardstocks
2. Add to card base
3. Add sentiment
4. Draw lines using Altenew’s Fine Liner pen set
5. Add to card base and you’re done

This is the Chevron Background Hot Foil Plate.

To make this card:

1. Use the Hot Foil plate to create the background
2. Stamp the floral image from the CYL Fragrant Florals set, and fussy cut the portion of the image that you want
3. Color the image using Altenew’s Artist Markers Cool Summer Nights set.
4. Add sentiment from the Envelope Kiner Die set. Die cut it 3 times & stack it
5. Use an Altenew Artist Marker to color 7 sequins and add to card front

Next up is the new Ultra Sticky Double-Sided Tape! I used the tape and the Lacey Doily Die for the card. It even works well with vellum! It comes in various sizes, but I used the 1/4” size for my card.

I used the Lacey Doily Die for this card, too.

To make this card:

1. Use the die to cut 5 pieces.
2. Arrange as in the pictures
3. Add sentiment
4. Trim to fit
5. Add to black card base

Next up is another great Foil Plate: Vibrant Florals!

You can color the image using the Simple Coloring Stencil Set or using any other medium. For the first card, I used Altenew’s Metallic Watercolor set, and for the 2nd card, I used the stencil with Altenew Crisp Dye inks.

Lastly, we have the Wonderfully Made die. How to make this card will be in a separate blog. Stay tuned for more information. 😁
