Altenew Educators’ “Clean and Simple” Blog Hop and Linky Party + Giveaway

Here’s my CAS (clean and simple) card. I hope you enjoy the Blog Hop and my post!

To start off, I used my T-square ruler to draw lines along all 4 edges of the front panel using my Altenew Fine Liner pen.

Then on the front panel, I placed a die from the Itty Bitty Branches die set face down where I wanted the cut out to be. Then I ran it through my die cutting machine.

Next, I trimmed down a piece of Altenew’s Glitter Gradient Cardstock from the Ocean Reflection set in the Starlight color, to put behind the cut out area. I also cut a piece of Emerald glitter cardstock from the Forest Canopy set. I die cut the image and added it on front of the white cardstock. It’s easy to add to the card with Altenew’s 2-sided adhesive on the back of the die cut.

The Starlight panel was not die cut because it went behind the white die cut cardstock.

I found 3 die cut sentiments from black cardstock and stacked them for added dimension. (I got the die cut pieces out of my extra’s cup). The sub sentiment is from the Dainty Watering Can set.

The card front was added to a black card base.
